Tired of Cleaning Mold, Mildew & Algae? Prevent it Instead with Anti-Growth!
Mold has become one of the biggest health concerns nationwide, and affects both new and existing buildings. Often, insurers won’t cover mold, and many are turning to litigation. And while you can clean mold and mildew, they often return, time after time.
The solution is AntiGrowth,® a mold, mildew and algae preventative. This technologically-advanced antimicrobial coating offers a number of advantages over existing products on the market:
- Anti-Growth, unlike cleaners and disinfectants, was developed to stop the re-growth of mold, mildew, algae and moss on any inanimate surface
- The more Anti-Growth delivered into or onto a surface the more effective it will be. The more porous substrates will offer the longest efficacy (Concrete, canvas, plaster, brick, wood, etc.)
We are Certified
Applicators of Anti-Growth!
Organisms Controlled by Anti-Growth
1. MOLD & MILDEW – are
spore producing organisms. These organisms feed on any surface that they
colonize, degrading and eventually destroying the surface.
2. ALGAE – live in
colonies, but also posses some of the attributes of plant life. Algae are
usually green in color but can also be a bluish gray & sometimes black
during low humidity. Algae create ideal conditions for mold, mildew and moss
growth. Algae also form an extremely slippery surface on concrete, masonry
& wood walking areas.
3. MOSS – a Bryolific
plant. Anti-Growth will control the re-growth of moss on most surfaces.

Builder Protection Program: Superior Mold & Mildew Treatment Program For New Construction
Builder Protection Program is designed specifically to
protect the builders of residential properties from liabilities relating to
mold growth beginning during construction.

Mold spores need only moisture, oxygen and a food source to begin rapid growth. Most wood building materials and components are exposed to moisture conditions during the period beginning with storage in the material supplier’s yard through the construction process. Wood cellulose is a favorite food of fungi. Mold growth may be present, but not always visible as the gray to black stains commonly seen in new construction.
Components, such as trusses and lumber exhibiting visible mold, may be returned to the supplier for exchange. Some builders replace installed lumber on which mold growth is present. These operations increase costs and negatively impact construction schedules.
Of greater concern is the unseen mold growth on structural members that will be covered by dry wall, insulation and other materials. Mold growth may not manifest itself for several years after completion of the structure. This latent growth can lead to expensive remediation and restoration and even to legal action.
Some builders estimate that moisture and mold related “call back” costs
average $1,500 for each single family home they build. Remediation /
restoration costs for mold problems occurring during the period for which the
builder is liable for latent defects can average from $20,000 to $30,000 per occurrence but can reach as
high as $100,000.

The basic Builder Protection Program is structured to be incorporated by builders as part of the standard package for the purpose of risk management and as a value added pass through to the buyer. The treatment process kills existing mold, seen and unseen, and prevents new growth on the treated surfaces. The basic program is very economical and has little impact on construction schedules. The program consists of three components:
I. Anti-Growth®
Treatment of all interior building material surfaces with Anti-Growth® at dry-in. Ideally, the building shell should be complete and treatment made just prior to window and exterior door installation.
II. Certified Applicator
Treatment will be completed by a Certified Applicator. Third party application is essential to minimizing potential liability issues related to mold
III. Warranty
Upon completion of treatment, we will provide you with a “Certification of Treatment” for the specific structure treated. Upon receipt of a copy of the “Certification of Treatment” form, Camden Products, LLC will issue you a 5 year limited warranty.

We also offer these Supplemental
Treatments:
Supplemental Treatments
Many builders elect to expand the basic Builder Protection
Program by one or more supplemental treatments:
- Supplement I
Treat the backside of drywall before it is installed. This treatment offers further protection against concealed mold growth in wall cavities but requires close coordination between sub-contractors to minimize the impact on the building schedule
- Supplement II
Treat ceilings and walls after dry wall has been installed and finished but before textures, paint or other wall coverings are applied.
- Warranty (Supplemental)
Rider(s) to the basic 5-year warranty will be issued specific to the surfaces treated under the expansion of the basic Builder Protection Program. The rider(s) will also be for a period of 5 years from the date of treatment.
Buyer Option Program
Many new home buyers, especially those with strong allergic reactions to mold and mildew, will welcome mold prevention treatment that goes beyond that provided in the Builder Protection Program. Others are concerned about the appearance of their property and in preserving its value. In recognition of the buyers’ concerns, we have designed additional treatment protocols as Buyer Options. These options are offered by us, through you, the Builder or directly to the Buyer. The cost is borne by the buyer as part of the Builders buyer option selection or as a separate service. The Buyer Option treatments are backed by two year limited warranties.
